field stripping

woke up at 700 am. nice. at least i have a few more spare hours to sleep.

rotc training day.

otra vez.

i just cannot ever believe that we are still on our FIFTH! training day... about 10 more to go. and that is not funny.

we are having field stripping today. again my friends, that is not ever funny.

for the record: i do not even have a clear idea on what field stripping is. yes my dears, i know what is on your mind but it is not what you are thinking. and what the hell you are thinking is not socially acceptable.

i had to redeem my points in neopets so i played before i ate lunch.

lunch was horrible.

no wifi in adast. loser.

many people are telling me that i can withdraw my rotc if i am ever suffering already. but honestly, i would rather suffer than be plastic in nstp. those brats.

so 1300 came. flag ceremony, attendance, inspection, yada yada yada...

but my corps commander made me fall out the flight to fix the audio visuals in ctc and as well as fix the chairs with ma'am de mesa. easy? yes. i was able to relax though but i missed the quiz. omg. but i can take it next week. oh noo.

FIELD STRIPPING 101

I Definition of terms

lufet (picture above)
1. Field Stripping
- Denotes a stage in disassembling a weapon which permits normal maintenance and cleaning.

2. Magazine
- The operating assembly holding a number of cartridges to facilitate loading for successive discharges. In a rifle the magazine may be an intrigal part of the weapon or a separate device attached to the weapons action. On most selfloading handguns the magazine is removable, a metal box with a spring operated feeding device. The cylinder of a revolver is a magazine, though the term is never applied. There are many different types of magazine including drum, rotary-box, tubular and box.

3. M 16 rifle
- a lightweight, 5.56 mm caliber, air-cooled, gas-operated, magazine-fed rifle, with a rotating bolt, actuated by direct impingement gas operation. It is constructed of steel, aluminum and composite plastics.

4. M 14 rifle
- is an American selective fire battle rifle firing 7.62 × 51 mm NATO ammunition. Although largely superseded in military use by the M16 rifle, it remains in limited front line service with the United States Army, Marine Corps, and Navy. The M14 also provides the basis for the M21 and XM25 sniper rifles (not to be confused with the XM25 grenade launcher).

5. M1 garand
- was the first semi-automatic rifle in the world to be generally issued to infantry. It officially replaced the Springfield M1903 rifle as the standard service rifle of the United States military in 1936, and was in turn replaced by the M14 (which was derived from the M1) in 1957.
The M1 was used heavily in World War II, the Korean War, and, to a limited extent, in the Vietnam War. The majority of M1 rifles were issued to American troops, though many were loaned to other nations. It is still used by various drill teams and is a popular civilian firearm. The word "Garand" is pronounced variably as [gûr-ǎnd'] and [gâr'-ənd], although descendants (and close friend Julian Hatcher) of the rifle's designer, John Garand, generally agree it should be the latter

6. .45 Caliber
- The .45 ACP (Automatic Colt Pistol) pistol cartridge was designed by firearms designer John Browning. The .45 ACP was developed in 1905 for a prototype Colt pistol, which evolved into the M1911 pistol adopted by the US Army in 1911. The round would become one of the most successful cartridges of all time, among both military and civilian users. It has been used in innumerable handguns and submachine guns since its introduction.

enough of the boring part.

ady loves the m16 gun in the world!

we had field stripping. we basically were able to assemble and disassemble the m14 rifle and the m16 rifle. i can say that the m14 rifle was pretty easy to assemble and disassemble but it requires much MUCH MUCH MUSCLE POWER which ironically i do not have. the m16 was a dream come true. AND I WANNA HAVE ONE!! i love to assemble and disassemble the m16. in fact it only took me a minute to assemble and disassemble the m16. BEAT THAT?!! not bad for a first timer though. but still that would not make me join field artillery or other deceptive special flight. anyway. it was fun.

yes

I HAD FUN.

how i wish can assemble and disassemble m16 rifles for the rest of my life. it is the most wonderful job at the moment. oh yeah, that guy from air force told us that after our rotc graduation, we can have licenses for our guns. yes we can own guns already, wink wink. hahaha. i know you know what i am thinking. but i wanna get my digital camera first before the m16 rifle.

this is unfair. i want to have my own m16 rifle too! so i can shoot down my enemies.

so to my dearest enemies... beware when you see me holding my pretty pretty m16 rifle...

heeheehee...

there... nothing really special happened after.

pol told me about their worker who died today because of swelling of the heart with water inside. okay i do not know how to word that. anyway. its shocking. minus one life in this planet earth.

i have to smile and point that m16 to my head

because i am a masochist.

i am troubled.
